Just want to point people in the direction of Barry Quinn. He's a Monaghan artist who 'Paints, draws, sketches, scratches, glues people (almost people) on canvas, paper, wood.'It's lovely delicate stuff full of pathos executed with a great sense of space and tone.
Also, having his pictures on my blog makes it look nice.
Also, full disclosure, he is one of my oldest and dearest friends.
